Commission card project
This was a card commission that I completed a few years ago. I will be taking the design concepts from these and using them for Umo Beast Domes since I have not heard from the client in regards to the progress of their game.
2016 - current
After the last attempt at publishing my work, I have decided to undertake the role of self publishing my work. I rebranded the comics to Umo Beast Chronicles and it is the current name for the series. Chapters 1 and 2 reflect this change. The gallery will showcase my pages, updated character art, sketches and more.
Umo Beast Domes is the revival of the uncompleted card game project. I will also be creating a comic for this project as well. At this time I am currently updating the artwork of the creatures, cards and will be updating everything to a more suitable lettering style. There will be a few samples of what I have done but these are not the final versions of said cards. I have completely changed the lettering and updated the artwork to the more current versions of my characters. It will also lock into the story of the comicbook series and play a roll in it. I will be updating this gallery as more cards are completed. Estimated date for a prototype is unknown at this time.
2014 was the year that I tried my hand at webcomics. I tried to get my comics published in 2015 but the publishers that picked up my work ended up wasting a full year of my time. In 2016 an ex-partner and I decided to use my comicbook characters for a card game concept. Over 50+ cards where created and designed. The lettering was based on the fact that I wanted it to match with my inking style back when it was a bit less refined. The lettering displayed on this design was a draft and does not reflect the final product that was used to print out the cards. I plan on having these available with updated graphics and coloring style. Some of the cards will have very draft lettering at the time. These are not the designs that I will be going with for the "rebooted" version of the project. This is my card art gallery. The one below this will include live shots of my actual comicbook pages.
